Every curtain is assessed individually. We’ll discuss any concerns with you before proceeding.
We look closely at the fabric, lining, colour, pleats and existing condition to choose the right approach for each curtain.
Loose dust is removed before the main clean, with particular attention to the folds and hems where it tends to settle.
Visible marks receive individual attention where the fabric allows. Results depend on the stain, its age and the condition of the material.
The cleaning method is selected for the material and construction, with care for linings, coatings, trims and delicate details.
Drying is managed with attention to the fabric’s shape, dimensions and natural fall. Some materials need a little more time.
Where suitable, steam finishing helps settle the fabric and tidy the pleats, with attention to how the curtain will hang.
We review the finish and presentation, then fold and pack each curtain carefully for its journey home.

Ask the Washora teamOne standard panel is approximately 1 metre of curtain width when spread out, rather than the width of the window. Wider curtains are counted proportionately. Send us a photo and the approximate width if you are unsure; we will confirm the panel count before cleaning.
Removal and reinstallation can be arranged. Share photos of the curtains, tracks or rods, and the full height so we can confirm access, the work involved and any applicable charges in your quote.
The method depends on the fabric, care label, lining, coating and condition. We assess each curtain first, then select suitable cleaning and finishing. If we identify a concern, we discuss it with you before proceeding.
We confirm your return date when arranging the order. Fabric, quantity, treatment and drying conditions can affect the timing. If you need your curtains back for a particular date, tell us when you enquire.
Some stains respond well; older marks, discolouration and previous fabric damage may remain. We assess visible marks individually and explain any concerns. Complete stain removal cannot always be guaranteed.
